Bar Mitzvah Trip to Jerusalem’s Southern Wall
When it comes to Jerusalem, many visitors overlook the holiness of the Southern Wall. They only go and crowd the Western Wall and its tunnels. For my son’s Bar Mitzvah trip, my wife and I decided to have the ceremony at the Jerusalem’s Southern Wall. Booking the trip is easy. Like I said, it is way overlooked by visitors – Jewish or not. I also chose the Southern Wall because you may celebrate Bar Mitzvah according to your and your rabbi’s traditions. More importantly, women may sit and pray together, and that is what I want. For my son’s mother and sisters to celebrate with us.
