I Love My Aunt’s Renaissance Doll Collection
My aunt has the most amazing doll collection. These are not dolls that you might see children playing with today. These are ceramic beauties from around the world and different time periods. Because she has always traveled a good deal with her husband, she has had the opportunity to purchase the finest replicas. My favorites are her renaissance dolls. She has three particular ones that wear the most ornate renaissance costume gowns that you could imagine. The detail work is absolutely incredible. I don’t know what will happen to her collection after she is gone, but I would give anything to own just one of those dolls.
