My aunt has the most amazing doll collection. These are not dolls that you might see children playing with today. These are ceramic beauties from around the world and different time periods. Because she has always traveled a good deal with her husband, she has had the opportunity to purchase the finest replicas. My favorites are her renaissance dolls. She has three particular ones that wear the most ornate renaissance costume gowns that you could imagine. The detail work is absolutely incredible. I don’t know what will happen to her collection after she is gone, but I would give anything to own just one of those dolls.

I really love Facebook, and being able to connect with friends and family.  It’s also a bonus that they offer some cool online games for people to play.  Last night, I stumbled upon this one called Hero World.  I did play a little, but it seems like it might be a little complicated.  I started to look around on the internet to see if I could find out more information, or find a  Hero World Guide, but there really isn’t much out there.  I am hoping someone will create something, so that us new users can learn how to play the game, and enjoy playing.

For us, retirement was going to be a time of relaxing, enjoying each other and spending time doing what we have always wanted to do.  Part of that is spending time with friends and family.  We knew that if we made a move to a senior retirement living community that we would have all of these opportunities and many more.  When we finally settled on the place we wanted to live, we had to tell our friends and family.  It was about two hours south of where we currently lived.  Everyone was on board and agreed to eventually move there too.  What a great piece of news.
