What a Portfolio Reflects
I was helping my best friend interview a wedding photojournalist and we noticed many unique aspects of her photos. We saw that her portfolio included at least fifty weddings of different cultures, locations, and styles. The wide variety and beautifully taken shots reflected on her experience and ability to capture the most important events in a distinctive manner. It was because of her portfolio that my friend decided to hire her for the upcoming wedding and pay a price that was a little higher than others. I would recommend seeing each photojournalists portfolio and sit down with a list of questions in a mini interview before making a decision on such an important topic.
