01/30 Remember to buckle up

When I was just sixteen I was in a fender bender accident in Connecticut. When the police officer arrived he had a certain authority and wisdom about his presence. I remember what he said to me like it was yesterday. “It’s not the tickets that slow you down it the accidents”. He was right. My teenage daughter is beginning to drive and I am very nervous. Her mom is a Bronx car accident attorney so I guess you know that she is also petrified about our little girl getting into an accident. My wife and I even considered placing a remote camera into the car so we could see where she was going and whether she had on her seat belt.

01/29 Construction Loans Tend To Be Second Mortgages

Usually when you have a building project, there is a first mortgage in place the covers off the purchase of the land and perhaps the initial development costs.

So when funds are sought for the actual building construction, they will typically be in from registered second mortgages.

When the construction is completed, both the first and second mortgage will tend to be refinanced into a long term take out mortgage.

As a second mortgage, the rates will usually be higher due to the higher preceived risk to the lender.  A first mortgage can be used for construction, but only if the property is free of any encumbrances.

01/29 Fun With Valentine’s

What would Valentine’s Day be if all I had to do every year was go out and just buy something. Anyone can go to a store and buy something, and while I love that my husband does just that, I do not want to do that for him. I am going to have fun with handmade valentine cards this year. Maybe I can get the whole family to participate. Perhaps even go out and put together one really large card that all of the family can take a portion of and decorate and surprise him when he comes home from work that day.

01/29 Start With Legitimate Malware Defense Program In First Place

I happen to work on my PC and also on the Internet every day, and I can tell you from experience that it is vital that you keep your machine protected properly with programs against viruses, but only from well known and seriously legitimate trusted sources. Otherwise you may find that you have a crashed computer and will have to replace it and put better malware defense programs on the new one from the beginning. But do try to avoid getting any program or software on the PC that does not come from a reputable source in the first place, to avoid this.

01/29 She Doesn’t Like Calories

When my wife and I got to the store the other day, she told me that she wanted to head over to the dairy section so she could pick out some egg whites.  I asked her if there were many calories in egg whites, and she told me that there weren’t many at all, which was why she liked to buy them.  I told her that she should just try to cook things with less butter and things like that.  I could tell that she really didn’t like the input that I was giving her, so I just put the egg whites in the cart.

01/29 I love pink!

I got the greatest birthday present ever. It wasn’t wrapped or anything my boyfriend just told me what it is but it is awesome anyways. And he is the best, best boyfriend ever!

He will have my car painted!  In any color I wish! As you can probably guess by now I’m going to have my car painted pink. He doesn’t like pink at all but he said I would have to drive the car anyways so it’s okay for him. I always wanted a lipstick pink car and now I’m going to get one. This is so awesome!

I just wander if I will have to inform my car insurance but I don’t think they’ll be interested in the color of my car, will they?
